Aubora: Legal Notice

This notice states who publishes aubora.co, who directs its publication, and who hosts it. Article 1er-1 of the French loi pour la confiance dans l’économie numérique makes these details mandatory, and they will be completed once Aubora is registered.

1. Publisher

The website aubora.co is published by Arthur Franco, acting on behalf of Aubora, a company in formation (société en formation), Paris, France.

Aubora is not yet registered, so it has no legal personality of its own. Under I of article 1er-1 of French law no. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 on confidence in the digital economy (the loi pour la confiance dans l’économie numérique, or LCEN), as rewritten by law no. 2024-449 of 21 May 2024 (the loi SREN), the éditeur (publisher) is therefore Arthur Franco, a natural person. He answers for the site personally until the company is registered.

Address. Aubora is a company in formation. The address of its registered office will be published here as soon as the company is entered on the registre du commerce et des sociétés (the French companies register).

Telephone. A telephone number will be published here at the same time. Until then, the publisher can be reached at any time by email, at the addresses in section 5.

Registration, VAT, and share capital. No entry number in the registre du commerce et des sociétés, no intra-EU VAT number, and no share-capital figure can be stated today: none of them exists before registration. They will be added as soon as they do.

2. Publication director

The directeur de la publication (publication director) is Arthur Franco. The publication director is the person who answers to third parties for what appears on the site; because the publisher here is a natural person, he holds that role himself.

3. Host

aubora.co is a static site: its pages are served from Vercel Inc.’s infrastructure, which keeps technical server logs. Those logs are described in our privacy policy.

4. Data storage

The data processed in editing this site (page files, associated assets, and server logs) is stored by that same provider, Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States. No other provider stores it. This statement answers 5° of I of article 1er-1 of the LCEN, introduced by the loi SREN, which requires the name and address of any person who stores, even free of charge, data processed directly by them in the course of editing the service.

5. Contact

The site has no accounts and no forms: correspondence runs by email. Three addresses exist, each for one purpose.

• contact@aubora.co: any general question, including about this notice and about the right of reply.
• privacy@aubora.co: data protection and the exercise of your rights, as set out in our privacy policy.
• security@aubora.co: reporting a vulnerability or a security problem, and nothing else.

6. Right of reply

III of article 1er-1 of the LCEN gives a droit de réponse (right of reply) to anyone named or identified in an online public communication service. If that is your situation, you can ask for a reply to be published.

Send the request to the publication director, Arthur Franco, at contact@aubora.co. State the page concerned, the passage that names you, and the text of the reply you want published. The request must be made within three months of the message being made available to the public (III of article 1er-1 of the LCEN). The reply is free of charge, and the publication director must insert it within three days of receiving it.

7. Intellectual property

The contents of this site (text, graphic elements, visual identity, code) are protected by copyright. You may quote them and link to them freely; reproducing them in full or reusing them commercially requires our written agreement, which you can request at contact@aubora.co.

“Aubora,” “Cerno,” “Meridian,” “MeridianDesk,” and “Verto,” together with the visual identity of this site, are distinctive signs of Aubora, used for the company in formation and its products. All rights in them are reserved, and any use beyond what the law allows without consent requires our prior written agreement.

8. Updates to this notice

The date of the last update appears at the top of this page. This notice will be updated whenever a detail changes, in particular when Aubora is registered (registered-office address, entry number in the registre du commerce et des sociétés, share capital, VAT number), when the telephone number is created, or if the host changes.
